The 3rd International Conference on Functional (Psychogenic) Neurological Disorders will take place on September 6-8, 2017, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This three-day conference will cover all functional disorders in neurology, including:
- Functional movement disorders, non-epileptic seizures, functional speech/visual/cognitive/dizziness
- Aetiology and mechanism including neurophysiology/fMRI
- Treatment, ethics and controversies
- Multidisciplinary faculty and attendees

We were delighted to announce membership to the Neurological Alliance as a National Organisation, and now be part of the only collective voice of organisations working together to make life better for millions of people in England with a neurological condition.
We welcomed our new Medical Advisory Board. The Board has been established to support all the work of our charity, made up of leading specialists, researchers and healthcare professionals who dedicate their time and expertise to improve the lives of people who are diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorders. We look forward to working further with the Board.
We launched a new Facebook peer support page, as an additional space for men diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder and/or Non Epileptic Attack Disorder, and for men who care for someone diagnosed. MARCH 25TH FND AWARENESS DAY UK – People across the whole of the UK joined us to spread much needed awareness of FND & NEAD. We interviewed 2 leading specialists, ran an awareness campaign, shared stories and articles .. and more. We were delighted to be given the opportunity to become part of Medway Neurological Network and work along side amazing worthwhile charities, to come together and be one voice for all those affected by Neurological conditions in the area and beyond. We became the first registered charity in the UK to advocate for the FND & NEAD cause, and support those who have been diagnosed. Charity registered in England and Wales whilst advocated across the UK.
