7 year old Lewis smashes the Junior Warrior challenge to raise awareness and funds for FND

You may remember 3 months ago Lewis, aged 7 years old, wanted to do something to raise awareness and funds to help those diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorders, which includes his mum Emma.

So in June he took on the Junior Warrior Challenge and not only smashed the course, he also smashed his fundraising target by raising over £1,300!

This is what Lewis had to say ..

“I loved doing junior warrior and the obstacles were my favourite, especially the slide down the hill and it was really really muddy. I can’t wait to do it all again next year. I can’t believe I raised more than a thousand pounds and I kinda wish I got to keep the spare money (The money past my target of course). I took my medal to school to show them. I hope it helps a lot of people with FND.”

On top of that, Lewis was also runner up in a local young champion award!

Well done Lewis!! Also a huge thank you from all of us at FND Action because with the money raised helps us continue to work on several projects we have in the pipeline to help those diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorders.
