CARER’S STORIES

People become carers for a broad range of reasons. The impact of a diagnosis not only effects the person, but all those around them.
Given the current lack of medical care, services and understanding of FND across the UK, it becomes even more of a challenge for those caring for someone diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder, including Non Epileptic Attack Disorder.
We want to be able to give caregivers, both adults and young carers, a platform to share their experiences and understanding to help raise awareness. You could be a family member, a friend, a work college or someone employed in a carer’s role.
Am I a carer? If you support someone who has been diagnosed, in a physical and/or emotional capacity, then yes you are.
