I had my first seizure in January and it was terrifying. After this I had endless hospital and doctors appointments, along with 2-3 tiring seizures each day.
The doctors didn’t believe me and put me down as ‘too young’ to have anything wrong.
The waiting list for a neurologist was over 6 months and my life was put on hold. Private care was the only option. The neurologist diagnosed me with functional seizures, along with chronic migraine, stress and anxiety. The tiredness is unbearable and so hard to study, but my family have been extremely supportive throughout the whole process
