Our Medical Advisory Board is made up of leading specialists, researchers and healthcare professionals, who dedicate their time and expertise to improve the lives of people who are diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorders.
The Board has been established to support all the work of our charity, with particular focus on:
- Advising on clinical and scientific developments which can be shared with our members and on our website.
- Advising on current research projects we can advertise to encourage participation.
- Providing a general response to complex clinical queries which may be appropriate to post on our website.
- Providing input and insight to support the development of our information resources for those diagnosed, and their families and carers.
- Providing input and insight to support the development of our services and campaigning activities.
- Providing advice and guidance on its approach of involving and engaging health professionals in our work.
