Jess Liddle & Family Hold Barn Festival In Aid Of FND Action

Jess tells us …

“I had my first seizure in October 2017 at age 15, and since then I have had one nearly every day. In late 2018 I started to have paralysis after a seizure which could last hours. I then started to experience brain fog that would hugely effect my speech, cognitive functions and memory. In 2020 I had 8 months with my legs fully paralysed and had to rely on my family at home. Every day is affected differently with different symptoms.

As a family we had done a few charity music festivals, Barnfest, at our family farm, and this year, June 2022, we wanted to do something close to our hearts. We all had our jobs to get it all together, with help from people in the village to get things set up. We had 350 people come and support us, 4 bands, food vans and bar to help raise money for this year’s charity.

After all costs we have £1500 to donate to our chosen charity.”

“FND Action would like to thank Jess, her family and all involved in arranging this fundraiser to support FND Action and people diagnosed with FND. The funds raised will be put towards new resources we are working on this year.”
