On Saturday 28th October, Max and George took part in the Beachy Head Marathon in Eastbourne, a 26.2 mile off-road route that included 300 steps and 14 gates!
Max’s partner Charlotte was diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder 4 years ago, and alongside his brother George, they wanted to show support to Charlotte and raise awareness and funds for the FND cause.
To raise awareness herself, Charlotte set up her own website to share blogs of her journey with living with FND, and share inspiration and hope to others who may be going along the same path. Her site can be found at fndandmecom – Living with Functional Neurological Disorder.
“The boys were honoured to run the Beachy Head marathon in aid of FND Action on Saturday 28th October. They raised a total of £320 for the charity. Max managed a time of 6hrs 1min. George managed a great time of 4hrs 55mins. They’re already planning their next run although it may be a slightly shorter one!! They’ve also inspired my eldest son Ian who is planning to run a 10k in the near future to raise money for FND Action.” ~ Charlotte
Fantastic achievement Max and George and thank you. We look forward to seeing what you have installed for next year!
