Participants required for FND/NEAD research study – King’s College London

Seeking participants with functional neurological disorder (FND) / non-epileptic attack disorder (NEAD) to complete an online survey about attitudes to treatment and self-management

We are seeking participants with FND (which can include NEAD, non-epileptic attack disorder) for an online survey study about attitudes to treatment and self-management strategies.

If you decide to participate, you can click the link which will take you to an online survey here:

https://kcliop.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_23ntg6PmQ1KqarP.

You will be asked a range of questions about your experiences of the illness and your attitudes towards treatments and self-help approaches. Your answers will be completely anonymous.

The survey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, and you can take as many breaks as you like. On completion of the survey, you can choose to be entered into a prize-draw taking place in September 2019 – the winner will receive £50 in Amazon vouchers. If you do this, we will ask for your email address separately from the survey itself, to ensure your anonymity.

To be eligible for the study, potential participants should be:

  • 18 years old or older.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Diagnosed with FND (which can include NEAD) by a Consultant Neurologist / Epileptologist or Neuropsychiatrist.
