Eilidh’s Fundraiser | Supporting FND Action

A huge thank you to Eilidh Rankin, who recently completed the Glasgow Kiltwalk, walking an incredible 14.6 miles to raise awareness and funds for Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

Eilidh chose to support FND Action after her mum was diagnosed with FND last June. Since then, her family have had to adjust to the daily realities and challenges that come with the condition.

In Eilidh’s words:

“Watching my mum having to fight every day to just do normal mundane tasks has been so difficult over the last year. I feel that not enough is known about this disorder and I want to try my best to make everyone aware of the challenges people with FND face on a day to day basis.”

Setting an initial fundraising target of £300, Eilidh went on to raise an amazing £640 through her Kiltwalk challenge.

Thank you, Eilidh, for your determination, kindness, and support in helping raise awareness of FND and supporting people affected by the condition across the UK.
