Researchers at King’s College London are looking for young people aged 12–17 with both Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and autism, along with a parent or caregiver, to take part in a study exploring their experiences.
The research aims to better understand what it is like to live with both FND and autism, how the two conditions may interact, and the impact they can have on young people and their families. The findings will help improve understanding of this underrepresented group and may contribute to the development of more inclusive and effective healthcare services.
Participation involves completing questionnaires and taking part in an online interview. Parents/carers will receive a £15 voucher and young people will receive a £10 voucher in recognition of their time.
