A personal story of living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

I was diagnosed with FND in October 2025, and suffered with fibromyalgia for 10yrs.

I was feeling well, felt like I had a stroke, and was in hospital 6 days, diagnosed in hospital FND. All scans were normal.

I was carer fo 22yrs and had to give up due to fibromyalgia. I was a chef but since October 2025 have not worked due to FND.

I now have non epileptic seizures and walk to right, and can’t do as much as I used to do. It took my life away from me. I have a lot more bad days than good days.
