10th September had been an ordinary day. I had been to work as normal, drove home. I called in the shop for something for tea that night, drove 10 minutes, and my life changed.

I felt pain in my back my legs, they became heavy and would not move. I was 5 minutes from home. My left returned to normal and I was able to use it as normally, but my right leg never returned for 2 months. It stayed straight, unable to pick it up, bend my knee, etc.

2 months later I ended up in A&E. I couldn’t weight bare on my right leg.

I was diagnosed with FND and from there I started to have other symptoms including seizures and speech issues, sometimes being unable to talk.
