As some of you may remember, last March Mark Woods-Nunn, along with serial adventurer James Ketchell, had arranged a Cambridge to Paris fundraiser/motivational awareness walking event. The event unfortunately had to be cancelled last minute due to Covid, and uncertainties have led to plans being adjusted so it is not delayed any further.
Their now edited project, ‘Walk from Home’, has been designed to allow people from all over the world to walk with the pair from their own location, and is running from today up to the 26th March.
In an interview Mark had with Cambridge Independent recently he stated “The point is it’s encouraging people to get outside and get some fresh air and walk. We’re still showing that regardless of circumstances, you can make something work.”
In addition, they will be connecting with other countries across the world by hosting webinars, which anyone is invited to join in with. Details will be posted on their social media sites below.
If you would like to get involved in any way during FND Awareness Day UK this Thursday, then do get in touch with Mark through their social media links below. They would love to hear about, and share, what you’ve been able to achieve.
Mark and James had already raised an amazing amount for FND Action and the Epilepsy Society, and we are so grateful to them, and all the amazing donors, for supported our cause.
They will be doing regular updates over the next few days, so make sure you follow them through the links below.
